It is Sooooo important that we do this despite what the Teabaggers are saying about federal intrusion. Imagine them saying that when Bush had his NSA people demand telephone records from AT&T and the like.

So just say NO to the Teabaggers and get that form filled in. In the next state legislative session in 2011 they will redraw congressional district boundaries based on the new numbers, and Texas is projected to gain 3 and possibly 4 additional seats in congress.

Michigan’s loss is our gain.

So not only is it important that all of us be counted, it is also important that we turn that 76-74 House Republican majority around this year. That way a Democratic majority will have their say on how the district maps will be drawn.

But if we miss the mark this year, there is always the 2012 election. Then we can redraw the district boundaries in 2013.

After all, what’s good for the goose - and Tom DeLay - is good for the gander.
