About The Silver Democrats

Fort Bend County’s chapter of the Silver Democrats was started to fulfill a need for Democrats over the age of 50 to meet, discuss issues important to
them, and become active in helping to elect Democrats, from the courthouse to the White House.

The Fort Bend Silver Democrats has a mission of recruiting qualified candidates, increasing Democratic visibility, and educating voters about issues important to older Americans. We also work with the Fort Bend Democratic Party and other local Democratic clubs to ensure open and fair
government for all people.

Becoming a member of the Silver Democrats costs only $15, and lets you vote on how we as an organization operates. It is not necessary to pay dues to
participate in any of our activities.

The Silver Democrats meet on the third Saturday of the month. Location to be announced.
